Spice Girls to make $3m each from UK Tour

The Spice Girls will be getting handsomely paid for their brief UK tour. They will reportedly get more than $3 million each , and they can make more money if they kill it in ticket sales.

According to TMZ, the 4 out of 5 Spice Girls, who are hitting the road next summer across the pond are set to be making nearly $550k a head for each of their 6 shows in Britain, totaling about $3.2 million each.

Mel B and co. could make even more cash if their shows sell well enough to spur a second leg outside the UK, the girls could rake in up to $6.5 million each.

Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham isn’t going along with them. There are reports that The Spice Girls could have made as much as $13 million each if Victoria had joined.

Kim Kardashian & her Lawyer, Shawn Holley honoured for their Prison Reform work

Kim Kardashian West and her lawyer, Shawn Holley, will receive the Women Leadership in Law Award next month for their work in getting Alice Johnson freed from prison.

The award is also for their ongoing work in the area of prison reform.

Kim and Shawn will receive the award sponsored by two of California’s leading legal publications, The California Lawyer and the Daily Journal, at a conference in Beverly Hills.

One of the officers from the organisation wrote to them, “You both are truly inspirational, and your work has been life-changing.”

Kim and Shawn worked closely with Jared Kushner for months, before finally meeting with Donald Trump in the Oval Office to push for Johnson’s release.

Entertainment Icon, John Singleton hospitalised after suffering stroke

The legendary film cum music director and screenwriter, John Singleton has suffered a stroke.

He is said to be in the hospital, after checking himself in earlier this week after experiencing weakness in his leg.

A family member tells TMZ, John had flown back from Costa Rica and the plane flight may have triggered the medical emergency.

Doctors are said to be performing tests and also doing rehab. The stroke was described as mild.

Singleton made his directorial debut, “Boyz n the Hood” back in 1991. He was nominated for two Oscars, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay. He was the youngest filmmaker to get nominations in the two categories.

He directed Michael Jackson’s music video, “Remember the Time” and Janet Jackson’s “Poetic Justice.” His other credits include “Rosewood,” “Shaft,” “2 Fast 2 Furious,” and “Four Brothers.”
