Next Stop, Nigeria! Belvedere Vodka x Laolu Reveals Limited Edition Bottle at New York Fashion Week

Belvedere Vodka, the first super premium vodka hosted a fashion showcase on Thursday, September 6th in collaboration with visual artist, musician and activist, Laolu Senbanjo to launch the new 2018 Limited Edition Bottle.

The exclusive New York Fashion Week event which took place at the prestigious Whitney Museum of American Art, had lauded models such as Martha Hunt, Helena Christensen, JeneilWilliams and Nolan Funk grace the runway in body paintings designed by Laolu.

The painted story, depicted through each of the models brought to life the artist’s interpretation of the beauty, nuance, and complexity of the Belvedere Vodka and of the coming together of the bottle using Senbanjo’s own Afromysterics design.
The Brooklyn-based Nigerian-born visual artist will be in Nigeria from the 24th – 29th of September to unveil the new limited-edition bottle alongside other memorable activities.

Singer, Tiwa Savage is really flexible with her identity. as she has given herself a new look.

Before fame came knocking on her door, Tiwa was that girl who liked short hairstyle.

On Tuesday she announced and revealed to her Twitter followers that she’s back to what she liked – her short hair. To achieve this look, the mother of one had to cut the long hair she groomed years ago.

“Short hair back for a hot minute 😜”, she said, while sharing the photo of her new look.

Met Gala 2019 break record, raises whooping $15million

The 2019 Met Gala’s parade of overly-exaggerated outfits raised a record-breaking amount of money for charity.

According to Met rep, the event held on Monday night at The Metropolitan Museum of Art raised $15 million.

Its apparently a skyrocket from last year’s $13M figure.

The Met Gala is the museum’s main source of annual funding for exhibitions, publications, acquisitions and capital improvements.

The 2019 Met Gala held on the night of Monday 6th of May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

The Costume Institute Gala is the biggest event on the fashion fundraising calendar. Founded by publicist Eleanor Lambert, the benefit was first held in 1948 to encourage donations from New York’s high society.

In its modern time, the most famous faces from the realms of fashion, film, music and art come together to raise money for the Met’s Costume Institute and celebrate the grand opening of its latest exhibition.
