The Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board, JAMB, has banned the use of wrist watches, pen, cell phones and smart jewelleries by both candidates and invigilators ahead of the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations.
JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, gave the order at a briefing in Abuja on Wednesday.
The Registrar stressed that there will not be any form of resit after the March 9 to 19 dates already scheduled for the exercise.
Professor Oloyede noted that 605 computer based centres have been created across Nigeria for about 1.7 million candidates, including 367 visually impaired persons.
He said that Imo State has the highest number of applications with 92,000 while The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, is lowest with 6,000.
