Former Vice President, 2019 Presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday visited the palace of Gbong Gwom Jos

In his word, Atiku said the visit was opportunity to get some insight and think solutions to the perennial security problems in Jos.

“The visit to the palace of Gbong Gwom Jos was opportunity to get some insight and think solutions to the perennial security problems in Jos. Our interaction with stakeholders of the PDP in the state gives us assurance of their support to our mission to get Nigeria working again,” he said.

Atiku 'committed to elimination fuel subsidy process'

 

Former Vice President, the presidential flag bearer of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar has mourned the late former President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Dr. Dozie Ikedife.

“On behalf of my family, I mourn the loss of Dr Dozie Ikedife, a former President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo. He was a true patriot who worked for a united, democratic and fair Nigeria. May he rest in peace. –AA,” he said on Twitter.

Ikedife died earlier this week and was buried in his home town, at Nnewi, Anambra state.

Former Ohanaeze Ndigbo President, Dozie Ikedife dies at 88

Former President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Dr. Dozie Ikedife is dead.

He died on Tuesday at 7pm, at the age of 88 in his Nnewi residence, according to his son.

He will be buried on Wednesday, Dec 12 at 5pm in his compound.”

The Imo State Governor, and Chairman Progressives Governors Forum, Owelle Rochas Okorocha said described Dr. Ikedife as a selfless leader who made sacrifices in the overall interest of Ndi-Igbo in particular and Nigeria as a nation.
