Popular, talented gospel singer, Sammie Okposo has passed away at the age of 51.

The Wellu-Wellu singer reportedly just died after suffering a heart attack. Another version, however, has it that he’s been battling ill health.

The Isoko, Delta-born dude started out working for Kingsley Ogoro’s Klink Studios, then the The Sharp Band, did dozens of home video soundtracks before hitting it big.

He was survived by his wife, Ozioma and daughter, Alua.
