As Nigerian troops continue to defeat the Boko Haram
militants in Konduga, Borno state, the Defence Headquarters have revealed that
five terrorists yesterday, Saturday surrendered with their weapons handed over to the troops. This is
happening as captured terrorists are giving useful information on new plans of
the sect to attack the state. Recall that Boko Haram’s fresh attempt to attack
the town again
"As the heat on terrorists continues, 5 terrorists yesterday
surrendered with all their weapons to troops @#Konduga pleading for mercy.
"Other captured terrorists have also been giving useful
information on the subsequent plans of the group in an apparent offer to
cooperate.
"An attempt by another set of terrorists to gain entry to
Konduga was yesterday foiled by troops. It is believed that the terrorist," they tweeted.
